Lyme disease is an incapacitating condition that affects the brain and respiratory systems. Lyme disease typically causes a rash, often times it creates in a bull’s-eye pattern, and those who are infected will have flu-like symptoms. Those with Lyme disease will suffer from joint and muscle pain. Weakness in the limbs is a common symptom as well as full body fatigue.

Numerous well-known actors, athletes, and performers have been living with Lyme disease, and few of these were effectively cured, some have lingering symptoms (Alec Baldwin, Richard Gere, George W. Bush, Peter Sarsgaard, and Bella Hadid to name a few).
